I'm leaving completely thanks to DreamUp
okay so I was originally going to keep my account for the memories and occasional interaction with people I still cared about on here. But as of the announcement of deviantArt's DreamUp program, it puts my art at risk of being used by AI algorithm without my permission or any earnings. Even if I opt out, my art is still at risk of being sold to third parties due to the fine print dA put in. And the main way to opt out of this dumb AI art program is to click on a checkmark for each deviation. I'd have to go through 156+ deviations for this, so I think I'm just going to deactivate since it deletes my art with it. I'd hate to get rid of the memories I had growing up on this platform, but I do not wish to support AI art that disrespect my and many other artists' artworks. I'll be removing my account in a few days, to give people time to see this. No longer going to post to deviantArt
I've decided that I no longer want to post my art to deviantArt because of how it has handled NFTs and AI art. They've added so many good features that I enjoy, only for them to support or otherwise not ban the posting of NFTs and AI art which has a lot of problematic things about them. (And no, this isn't an invitation to discuss the problematic features) I'm still going to leave my gallery and account up here so I can keep track of artists and other people I still like here. But I'm going to focus posting my art on other sites such as InkBlot, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr. You can find links to all of my accounts there on my carrd.

New Tablet
I kept forgetting to mention this, but about a month or so ago, my tablet broke. So I got a new one (Specifically, I got the VEIKK A30 drawing tablet. I needed a cheap one that seemed to work good)
And boy is it an upgrade from having a very tiny space on a really old wacom tablet that probably wasn't even meant for drawing. I've noticed that my lineart looks nicer now (which I hated the most about my art) and it's a lot easier to draw with now that I've adjusted to the size differences of the usable area. So far, I like it. :)

Glad you're back. It's more or less the same for me. Trying to fight off depression while drawing like a maniac to make up for lost time. 2015 and 2016 were crazy times. OTL
